Conference Room LED Wall Case Study: TENSHANG Transforms Corporate Boardroom

In an era where hybrid work has become the default rather than the exception, corporate meeting spaces are under more pressure than ever. A traditional projector or a single LCD monitor no longer cuts it when executives need to review dense financial dashboards, host remote teams across three time zones, and make high-stakes decisions in real time. This case study walks through how TENSHANG Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. designed, manufactured, and installed a custom conference room LED wall that solved all of those challenges for one of our enterprise clients.
The worldwide indoor led walls market is projected to grow from USD 10.59 billion in 2025 to USD 12.10 billion in 2026, on its way to USD 24.15 billion by 2032.

Our client — a multinational technology firm with headquarters in Shenzhen and regional offices in Singapore, Frankfurt, and San Jose — approached us with a familiar set of problems:
Their previous 86-inch LCD panel sat opposite a wall of windows. On sunny mornings, presenters had to dim the room just to make spreadsheets readable.
A 2×2 LCD 拼接 setup left thick black lines cutting through charts and video feeds — distracting during board reviews.
Microsoft Teams "Front Row" layouts felt cramped on a 16:9 screen, and remote attendees appeared small and distant compared to in-room participants.
Their aging projector lamp needed replacement every 18 months, and the last failure happened 20 minutes before a quarterly investor call.
They needed a corporate LED video wall that could deliver daylight-readable brightness, zero bezels, native support for ultra-wide collaboration layouts, and 24/7 reliability.
After an on-site survey and a review of the room's acoustics, lighting, and cable infrastructure, our engineering team proposed a 165-inch, 21:9 aspect ratio fine-pitch Led Display built around our flagship indoor rental-grade panels adapted for permanent installation.
| Specification | Detail |
|---|---|
| Pixel Pitch | P1.5 mm (fine pitch) |
| Total Size | 3.84 m × 1.62 m (165-inch diagonal, 21:9) |
| Brightness | 800 nits (calibrated to 500 nits for room comfort) |
| Refresh Rate | 3,840 Hz |
| Contrast Ratio | 5,000:1 |
| Panel Material | Die-cast aluminum with GOB surface protection |
| Processing | Novastar HDR controller with AV-over-IP input |
| Integration | Native Microsoft Teams Rooms & Zoom Rooms certification |
| Warranty | 3 years on-site, 5-year module warranty |
The 21:9 format was a deliberate choice. As Bovtiy's analysis of hybrid workspace design notes, ultra-wide Led Screens are increasingly adopted specifically to support Microsoft Teams Front Row layouts, which place remote participants at eye level alongside shared content — creating a more equitable meeting experience.
One of the biggest concerns the client raised was downtime. Their main boardroom is booked 40+ hours per week, so we had a narrow weekend window.
Our two-engineer crew arrived after the last meeting, removed the old LCD wall and mounting bracket, and installed a custom structural frame rated for the 180 kg LED array.
Panel-by-panel assembly. Each 600×337.5 mm cabinet locks into place with a precision magnetic connector — no tools required for module swaps. By mid-afternoon, the full array was powered on and running a burn-in test.
Color calibration, content mapping, and AV integration. We used our AI-assisted auto-calibration tool to uniformize brightness and color temperature across all 230 panels, then configured the AV-over-IP switcher to accept feeds from the room's PTZ cameras, wireless presentation system, and video conferencing codec.
The client's first all-hands executive meeting ran on the new wall — without a single hitch.
We followed up with the client's IT and facilities teams three months post-installation. The numbers speak for themselves:
- 92% reduction in display-related helpdesk tickets (from 24 incidents/quarter to 2).
- 35% increase in meeting satisfaction scores, driven primarily by remote attendees who now report feeling "present in the room."
- Zero lamp or bulb replacements — LED modules carry a 100,000-hour lifespan (roughly 11 years of 24/7 use).
- Full daylight usability: Presenters no longer need to close blinds or dim overhead lights.
- Investor feedback: During the Q2 earnings call, two major shareholders specifically commented on the "clear, professional quality" of the presentation visuals.
This project is far from an isolated trend. Across the industry, direct-view LED is rapidly replacing projection and LCD in corporate environments — and the data confirms it.

At TENSHANG, we're already seeing these predictions play out in real orders. Our conference room LED display inquiries are up 47% year-over-year, with P1.2 and P1.5 fine-pitch products accounting for the majority of new RFQs.
If you're evaluating a meeting room LED display upgrade, here are five factors our engineers recommend you prioritize:
For a boardroom where the closest viewer sits 3 meters away, P1.5–P1.9 is ideal. Closer viewing (under 2.5 m) calls for P1.2 or finer.
Even indoor rooms with windows benefit from 600+ nits. Anything below 500 nits will look washed out when the sun comes up.
21:9 walls future-proof your room for Teams Front Row and side-by-side content layouts.
In a permanent installation, front-access module replacement means you never have to take the wall down to swap a faulty tile.
Run Cat6A/ fiber and control cabling during the wall build — retrofitting is twice as expensive.
